Super Skinny Models
I noticed the other day when I was in the hair salon under the dryer, that the size of the models still look terrible. I was hoping that the fashion industry would get IT. They obviously haven't. Girls should not be looking at these pictures. It gives a false imagine of any reality in the real world. I don't know anyone that looks like this, nor would I think they were pretty. A beautiful woman is full. Minimum size 10, preferably size 12 and above. I will admit that I don't have a preference for really large ladies but these size tiny size girls that are freakishly tall do womanhood a complete injustice.
I know you guys don't look at these magazines. We try to look the way you want us to, to attract you to us. If this is what you think you want, I would like to know. I can't imagine anyone thinking this is pretty. It just looks scary. It looks as if someone took the picture and squished it horizontally and stretched it vertically with a photo editing program. Unreal!
I read an article from the news blips on Yahoo today about a fashion designer that brought in two plus models size 12 and 14 for his catwalk show in London recently. Two of the staff or models quit in disgust. How distorted is that? Most woman fall into this size range.
I know I am older. I have been there, wanting so bad to be as thin as possible. When I was skinny, I looked as if I were dying of starvation, not healthy. I am in better shape and have great muscle tone that I did not have in my youth. I have some fat that is there because I eat what I want, when I want it. Diet very rarely. I love to dance and do weights. This is not going to make me skinny. I am beautiful to the people that matter in my life. I don't have to have the whole world, just the ones that love unique redheads with a bit of flair.
